I just picked up a copy of Halo Wars. If you've played it please tell me what you thought of it. Thanks

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

First off, I haven't played Halo Wars. I have a Wii, and Halo Wars is only available for X-Box 360. Halo Wars was developed by Ensemble Studios, the same company that developed the Age of Empires series. I am a huge fan of RTS games, specifically Age of Empies III (and the expansions) and also Age of Mythology. I've had Halo Wars on my radar since before it came out, following the developement a little on Ensemble Studio's website. I almost decided to buy a 360 just to play it, since I got lots of play time out of Age of Empires III.

Here is a review in case you're interested:

Have fun with your game!

I bought Halo Wars about 6 months ago. It is not what I thought it was going to be like. I do not like it. I will stick to Halo 3. I was hoping if would be like Age Of Empires from Microsoft (PC) but it is nothing like it. Way too simple of a game. Bungie could of done a much better job with this.
