I have to do a training session for freshmen about internet literacy/privacy issues. Any suggestions?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I think Fred Hofstetter's book 'Internet Literacy' would be a good starting point. you can look at the electronic table of contents and select items you thing belong in your training session. Some privacy issues are also covered. For students it is most important that they know that stuff the post lives on forever in the great caches in the cloud of the Internet, long after the images and text have been deleted.
