I have recently gotten a digital movie camera, but it takes forever to edit video in Adobe Premiere Elements 2. What can I do?
I'm looking for a solution under $100 that will help my Dell (2.8 Ghz P4 with hyper-threading enabled, 1 gb RAM, and no add-on graphics card) render my movies quicker in Adobe Premiere Elements. The computer has an open PCI slot but nothing else.
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

There are a number of factors that can be causing you issues. I would recommend getting:
a) more RAM (+1 GB)
b) new video card.
GeForce 8400 GS 512MB from newegg.com is just $69.99
Not sure what model dell you have so I can't say what kind of ram to get. But another GB of RAM will help because Premiere tends to use a lot of RAM.
Good luck.
