I have heard that melatonin has been helpful for treatment of breast and prostrate cancer. What is the status of research on it?

There are some study in using melatonin in treatment of some solid tumor and there found some reduction of death rate and some increase in survival rate.But it is now in clinical trial.For practical use there need further study.http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/34048.php
