I have a Verizon phone and an iPhone. I'd like to cancel the Verizon plan and transfer that number to my existing iPhone. How?
I don't know whether they can port an existing Verizon number to an EXISTING AT&T plan. Would I have to simply cancel the current AT&T, pay the ETF, and then proceed as if I'm transferring my Verizon number to a brand new AT&T plan? (And this way I could get the subsidized pricing on the 3GS.) What's the best way to go about this? I'd rather not pay an ETF if I can help it.
