I have a problem installing windows in my new computer

Hi Mahalo

So I spent a lot of time getting the parts for my new computer, processor core 2 quad, video GeForce 9400, 2 Gb of memory ddr2 and Nvidia mainboard with SLI for easy upgrading in the near future.

I was using my old hard drive, I formatted it, and started installing windows XP, it seems to work at first, but after windows restart the PC for the first time, I get a error message: "Cant read system" or something like that.

No matter how many times I repeat the same operation, I get the same message.

So I tried installing Ubuntu, and I had a similar problem, until I tryed using the "low graphics" option. I am using Ubuntu now.

But I still want windows, so I give Windows 7 a try, this time I got a black screen.

What do you think is causing the problem with windows?

Can I say the installation problem is related to the video card?

What can I do if my mainboard doesn't has a video output besides the videocard?

I think what I would do first would be to get a different video card and try installing Windows. If this works, then you know that the problem is related to the video card or the driver. I would choose a very generic card to do this.

Well, It may different when you need crack windows 7 password once you lost your password of windows 7 logon account. You may try windows login recovery, a third-party password recovery tool. It can help you bypass windows 7 password as well as for password recovery for any other windows systems.

Sounds like possible driver incompatability. I would double check that you have matched the correct driver for your GeForce 9400 with the correct version of your operating system.

Have you selected all 64 bit hardware and software options, all 32 bit, or a combination?
