I have a labrador (11 months) who doesn't like dried complete food. He has always been quite fussy! Can someone please suggest a "wet" food?

My dog has just recovered from Parvo. Prior to his illness he was quite a fussy eater and had fairly wet almost diarrhoea like poo on a regular basis. He doesn't like dried, complete food since he's been ill so I would like to find a good "wet" food for him. Can anyone please suggest something? Thanks.

I would try your dog on something like this:

It's organic and chicken is quite a lightweight meat for digesting, so it would be good as a 'recovery' food.

For something more meaty, you might want to move onto a food such as this:

You will want to add some plain kibble to his diet as well. If you mash the wet food down with a fork, you can then add kibble and mix them together. Usually dogs will eat the kibble because it is coated in the wet meat, which adds flavour. Or you can always try soaking the kibble in a little boiling water first to soften it.

Good luck!

i had a brittainy spaniel that wouldnt eat many varieties of dry food but would eat kibbles and bits because the kibbles were soft and hedidnt mind the dry with the kibbles this might help keep from having to go to a total wet food diet
