I have a computer that has Windows Vista. Should I upgrade to Windows 7 and if so why?

If not, you might as well keep it unless you get to upgrade for free. I use Vista still and have never had 1 problem. I run all kinds of games and try out software that I review. I install and uninstall various things each week.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it (unless it's free!)

M$Whereas I still run XP on my primary work computer because its main function is music production, and XP service pack 2 was the first MS OS that didn't consistently crash and that the manufacturers of my software tools developed rock solid drivers.
For typical usage (internet, gaming, torrents, office, etc), I would switch to W7. Its faster, more secure than previous systems, and most importantly is probably going to become the next 'XP'... ie, it will be supported far better than the likes of 2K, Vista, etc...
Rather than reiterate a more cohesive/semi-geeky arguement (I've been awake for 20 hours, me no thinky so well no more)... here are some articles that lay out the pro/con fairly well.
