i have a bump on my nose that resembles a pimple that is getting started and has not come to a head. it is skin colore ,with no pain or itch
it has stayed the same for 8 years. no growth or color change

It could be a Seborrheic Keratoses, which is a benign (non-cancerous) skin colored or dark colored tumor or cyst. They are very common on the nose and sometimes are mistaken for a wart. Seborrheic Keratoses are bumps that are painless, sometimes they can get aggravated by rubbing. They can be removed, but it isn't necessary. Usually if something has not grown or changed in color it is not a great risk. However, you should really have your doctor look at it to rule out any possibilities.
