Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

If you ran the official update, then you should be able to contact Apple for assistance/replacement.

If an Apple update caused the problem, then it is Apple's problem, not yours.

That doesn't make sense. Was your phone jailbroken?

What do you mean by 'bricked'? Is it entirely dead, also after a hard reset?
Try pressing and holding both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button.
Release when (if) the Apple logo appears on the screen.

If this doesn't work, and your iPhone is truly bricked, your only option is to return it to the shop you bought it from. The iPhone is capable of running 3.0(.1), so that shouldn't be the cause of the problem.

you can't get it replaced. Apple will be able to tell if it has that software. Normally, thye update would've deleted it, so youre hacked software probably not fixable. Try going to apple's support forums, they could help you out.
