I don't understand the premise of the show "Life After People."

This stuff, I'll admit, doesn't really have much relevance in our current world with all the people in it, but nonetheless, it appeals to my sense of wonder, not to mention curiosity.

No problem. The person who understand that there are blinds to open, so to speak, is the person well set upon the path of self-enlightenment. ;)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8eqMK-9qYvkBy the way, since you're learning about the subject of life after people, might I suggest another documentary to you? It was on several years back, but I recently found it posted in it's entirety on Youtube. It's a series called "The Future is Wild" and it actually starts out with a similar premise, that human beings have died out. It then picks certain periods of time in the future (100,000 years, 4 million years, 100 million years, etc.) and examines what the Earth might very possibly be like at those points, including the types of creatures that eventually rise up to replace humankind as dominant species. (By the way, pay attention to what the squids are doing. They're destined to go places. :p )
Anyways, if you're interested in watching it, here's a link for ya:
Thank you Baka13. I never really looked at it that way. It makes sense. Sometimes my own logic doesn't allow me to see the whole picture and I need someone to open up that blind.
