I burnt 500 calories on the elliptical machine in 20 min and still don't feel it's enough, does anyone burn 1000 calories in one workout?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Burning 1000 calories in one workout is extremely unhealthy. The average amount of calories burned in a workout ranges from 100 to 300, based on your metabolism. 500 is already above average, 1000 is outright dangerous. Perhaps instead of working out until you burn 1000, you could do your routine work out and try out a healthy diet. The reduced calories from the diet plus your regular routine should result in about 1000 calories less for your daily intake.
