However, he might get over-excited about getting a "large" gift, and might be disappointed when it's just a DVD. Not good! Instead, I recommend you wrap the DVD as usual, and then hide it, somewhere close to the tree but unusual. Then, all you need to put under the tree is a card in a christmas-envelope that says where to look. That way, he will never know what you got him, and you also won't have to worry about him fantasizing about "what's in the big box".
