I am thinking of buying an MacBook Pro . Which model would you recommend?

I intend to use the computer mostly for uploading images to the internet, for gaming and for editing home movies.
I am concerned about the costs as well but I want the best value for my budget.
Should I go for the entry level 13 inch MacBook Pro or for the midrange 15 inch MacBook Pro or the biggest and most expensive 27 inch iMac? What sort of variation in price is there? Is it really worth spending the extra money for the larger models? Should I buy any extra software right from the start or is it good enough to get going out of the box?
Should I wait for the update before purchasing?

In my opinion you can go for MacBook Pro 15 inch or in specific model we called it Apple MacBook Pro MC371LL/A 15.4 Inch has set all new benchmarks for Mac notebooks. The 15-inch MacBook Pro feature Intel Core i5 processors, which boost performance up to 50 percent and reach Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.33GHz. The next-generation NVIDIA graphics bring high performance to everything from 3D games to photos and videos. And the built-in battery lasts up to 8 to 9 hours on this MacBook Pro 15 inch model. Up to 50% faster compared with previous generation MacBook Pro. But if you a want a complete solution this site has a solution….

Depending on how much gaming and movie editing you do, you may want to go with an iMac instead of the Macbook Pro. The reason being is that the iMac has more memory and hard drive space, which you will need to store and run your gaming and editing programs. You can still do gaming and editing on a Macbook pro, but you will find after a while that your pro will get slow because of all the heavy duty editing and gaming. Not only that but you get more bang for your buck as far as space and memory is concerned for an iMac as compared to a Macbook pro. If I priced it out correctly, you can get pretty much get identical Macbook pro's and an iMac with the same hard drive and memory, and the iMac is $1399 and the Macbook Pro 15 inch is $3199

So to that I say, stick with the iMac.  Now if you want the portability and don't mind sacrificing for a slower computer at times you could get away with a decent Macbook pro.
Hope this helps, let me know if you have any more questions.  Love helping people out when it comes to finding the right Mac.
