i am going to have a catheter ablation done and will be asleep for the first part. Can I ask to be put to sleep by gas ?
In the near future, I am going to be having a catheter ablation done. The dr that will be doing the procedure said that I will be asleep for the first hour of it, then i will wake up so he can talk to me and I talk to him, then if they can go in and fix it I will be put to sleep again. My question is this : When the anesthesiologist gets ready to put me to sleep, can I request to be put to sleep through the use of gas ?
