I am copying the following information from a website, and including a link so you can apply for assistance. Good luck to you! I may need it soon to get off an opiate pain medicine that my doctor prescribed a year ago without telling me it was so addicting!

RECKITT BENCKISER
Patient Assistance Program
Patient assistance programs (PAPs) are programs created by drug companies, such as RECKITT BENCKISER, to offer free or low cost drugs to individuals who are unable to pay for their medication. These Programs may also be called indigent drug programs, charitable drug programs or medication assistance programs. Most of the best known and most prescribed drugs can be found in these programs. All of the major drug companies have patient assistance programs, although every company has different eligibility and application requirements.

The RECKITT BENCKISER patient assistance program offers free medication to people who otherwise cannot afford their medications. Patients must meet financial and other program specific criteria to be eligible for assistance.

To find out how to apply for medication assistance from the RECKITT BENCKISER patient assistance program, visit our Patient Center and use our Database to search for the medication needed.

For a complete listing of RECKITT BENCKISER medications available through their patient assistance programs, see below:

Suboxone Patient Assistance Program
The medications available through this program are:
Suboxone (buprenorphine hci)

The patient assistance programs are invaluable, although it may take a few weeks to process the paperwork. In the meantime, you might try asking your doctor about short-term options to keep your condition stable until you can restart the Suboxone.

I'm happy to help! I've been taking 200 mgs of Ultram ER for about a year now, and I stumbled on to some sites where people talk about their horrible withdrawal symptoms while trying to get off of it, so I did some online research and found out it was addicting, and I became concerned, so I plan on getting off of it ASAP.

The problem for people with chronic pain is that most of the medications we need for quality of life are addicting or cause liver/renal problems when taken long term. I am going on vacation this coming week, and when I get back I plan on beginning the process of getting off of the Ultram. I just don't know what alternatives will be for handling my pain, but I don't want to stay on any medication long enough to become addicted to it. I'm wondering if I change frequently, I can get pain relief without worries about addiction.

I wish you all the best. I hope you are able to find the right program to get the assistance you and your treatment goes well.

If you are looking Suboxone prescription assistance programs, I suggest you take a good look at PatientAssistance.com, this site is a very helpful online resource that assists individuals that are unable to pay for their prescription medicines such as Suboxone, thus helping the unemployed and the uninsured continue their medications even if they are out of work.

PatientAssistance.com]] has a wide range of online partners such as Walmart Pharmacy, Good Neighbor Pharmacy, Diabetes Shoppe, Johns Hopkins Medicine, GroupNet LLC, National Patient Travel Center, America's Promise Alliance, QVL Pharmacy, Pharma Marketing Network and NewCrop.

As far as Suboxone Patient Assistance Program is concerned, there are certain eligibility requirements that must be complied:

"- You must not be covered by private or public health insurance

- You must have an annual income less than or equal to: $25,000 for an individual, $34,500 for a family consisting of two members, and $43,000 for a family consisting of three members.

- You must be at least sixteen years of age.

The medication must be sent to the physicians office.

Those eligible for Medicare Part D but not enrolled may still be eligible."

If your eligible, there are three things you must do, first is to register with patientassistance.com, look for the Suboxone Patient Assistance Program and have the medicines.

I know exactly what you mean about not being able to afford it!!! There is no doctor on my reservation that even deals with opiate addiction, so I have to travel over a hundred miles to get to my doctor and than I have to figure out how to pay for the suboxone. I wish that someone could just see that I entered into this program willingly thinking that it was going to be an answer to my prayers. I think that it might cost more than the drug i was using and not as readily available as the drug I was on. I NEED HELP!!! PLEASE!! I AM A COLLEGE STUDENT AND TRYING TO RELIEVE MYSELF FROM OPIATE ADDICTION, BUT I CAN'T AFFORD IT. IT IS SOOOOO FRUSTRATING!!!

Can't help you on the assistance plans but for checking drug prices and lower cost alternatives suggest www.destinationrx.com. I don't have your zip code but website allows you to check local prices. There is great variation on drug prices by region.

http://www.destinationrx.com/druginfo.aspx?drugName=Suboxone&drugID=15351 This web page says cost of less than $400.for:
* Suboxone SUB 8-2MG
* 60 SUBL, 30 day supply

If you have children then you can get medicaid and they will pay for it. If you don't have kids you can still apply for medicaid but they will probably deny you the first couple of times but keep bugging them and they will accept you. I am on methadone for pain and I am thinking of switching to suboxone. If you don't mind me asking what are you taking it for? Because I have to wake up really early every morning and drive 30 minutes to the Methadone clinic and 30 minutes back. Does suboxone help with pain? Methadone is cheaper though, I pay $84 a week and it doesn't matter what MG I am on. Everyone that goes there that has kids or a disability has medicaid and they pay for it completely. Suboxone where I live, FL, is not $1,000 a month, it is about $400 a month which is still expensive. Have you tried checking prices at different pharmacies because that could make a big difference. I also used to buy suboxone directly from my doctor for $2.00 a pill.....................I hate to say this but I think you are getting ripped off!

Forgive my prying, but Suboxone is a highly addictive narcotic medication. My advice to you would be if you are taking it for pain, to get a second opinion and tell the doctor you want to be on no narcotic medications. Suboxone is not a medication you want to be on if at all avoidable.

I am i taking Suboxone to get off of Oxycodone!! I am in a outpatient rehab practice! I have been on Methadone, Roxycodone for over 12 years and I have to take this medication!! I will be weened off it slowly when the time is rright!
Thx for your answer though. P.S. Suboxone anly hac .5 Mg of opiates in it compared to the 30 MG roxycosone I was taking So even if I went off it cold turkey the withdrawals would be next to nothing in comparison to The other pain medication I was on!

Suboxone can not even be prescribed for pain. It is also not 'highly' addictive as far as opioid and opiate medications are concerned. Suboxone only does partially what the pain killers (hydro, oxy, morphine, etc) do fully. Suboxone also contains a second drug which blocks pain killers; thus if you took a pain killer while on sub, you would be in some miserable withdrawal stage.
