I am a new CNA and I was wondering if anyone knew any good websites or books to help me with my skills
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

M$The best thing you can do to make yourself a GREAT CNA is to follow your Nurses.Listen to them and learn from them.
Experience is learned hands on in the medical field.I started an a CNA in a Nursing home.I then went on to a hospital. That was where I learned the most.In the hospital setting you learn different things.I was on a Med/Surg floor and had to be a part of codes, doing compressions.I started IVs,Various other things that are forbidden for a CNA to do in the nursing home setting.
Good Luck, It is a very rewarding job if you get into the right place to work.
