The show used to be funny in the first 3 or 4 seasons, when the novelty of the excessive swearing, blood, and kenny-killing was still there.

A lot of the appeal for me was that the writers captured a lot of the current events and converted them into a politically incorrect format and made them humorous.

I haven't watched much lately, but the shows that I catch here and there just seem like they are going overboard now.
