Hulu Plus, should netflix and/or cable TV be concerned?
Another part of the question has to do with the Xbox 360 where many users had third party programs on the system which allowed the viewing of Hulu. Will Hulu Plus be available in this type of fashion?

Other than that Hulu Plus represents more of a problem for cable companies. If the options of Hulu shows are similar to Netflix shows I will stay loyal to Netflix, but if the selection is different enough I may invest in both . . . Netflix + Hulu Plus is still cheaper than cable in my area.

As it stands, Hulu's selection pales in comparison to Netflix, and is still ad-supported. Also, Hulu only really has network TV shows right now, so until they get premium stuff (including shows from premium channels, such as Showtime), they can't touch Netflix.
It only marginally competes with cable TV providers, because several cable providers also own some of the networks that support Hulu to begin with.
