How would you survive if there were no fast-food chains, take-outs or pre-packaged foods available?

Without the fast-food and all of the heat-and-serve food available, people would just go back to the way it was before all of the pre-cooked food was manufactured - cook.
Before all of the food chains and the fast-food, people did actually cook their own meals - from scratch.
And people were a lot thinner and healthier.
I would be OK, because it is rare for me to order food, because I rather cook my own. It tastes so much better.

M$Home baked or home made is always better for us because they lack the chemicals found in most processed foods.

M$I would have a small farm with only the animals and crops that I needed to 1. Feed my family and 2. Make enough money to live comfortably.
If this ever happened we'd all be a LOT better off...

M$Yes, there are always options on what to buy in restaurants or supermarkets, checking the ingredients and nutritional values of what you think is good. Also, not everyone who's cooking their own food is wise on choosing what they're cooking. So, let's just make it fair to say that, people can survive without eating and ordering at restaurants and buying processed foods because there is a lot of alternatives.
Cooking your own food at home from scratch, can make you a better cook; will make you lose some weight and be fit; will make you healthier; will emotionally makes you happier (satisfaction in knowing you are feeding yourself and your family a good meal everytime, and more satisfaction when people around you appreciated and thanked you for your cooking efforts); and I would think it saves money too.

M$But another option would be to carry a a bottle of water and some fruits or a canned drink and cookies or cheerios, just like kids do.
