How would you stay safe on a public WiFi network when using a Mac?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

with firefox you can also setup proxy features with it Tools->options->advanced->network->settings
Also here is some more info on MAC PROXYS (http://www.ehow.com/how-does_4927970_setting-up-proxy-server-mac.html)
but you might not need all of that, im sure you would be just fine with firefox and/or (if you still a little nervous)in private browsing for extra protection browsing or Ctrl+shift+P
*So pretty much your gonna have to download something unless you want to set up a personal mac proxy but i think you still need to download something for that too*
