How would you categorize a person's age group?
for General population today, and for yourself; personally?
I'm interested to know what have you done or how did you think at the age of 26.

Good question Lee! I would categorize the age groups as under;
1. Infants: 0 to 1 year of age. They are just driven by their inborn and/or animal instincts.
2. Babies: 1 to 5 years of age: They start understanding their surroundings, acquaintances, society and can interact. Most start going to school. Totally sexually unaware.
3. Kids: 5 to 10 years of age: They are smarter, social, school going, mischievous, often punished, adamant and start developing sexual awareness.
4. Adolescence: 10 to 15 years of age: The sexually aroused, self centered, confused, shy but aggressive, patriotic lot. They are good at sports, studies and everything they get in. But at the same time, this the age group who fail most. Very sensitive age that often proves to be the turning point of life.
5. Teens: 15 to 19 years of age: Bit more responsible, loving (starts understanding love crossing physical barriers), fashion concerned, extrovert, movie loving and dieting group.
6. Youth: 20 to 30 years of age: The actual strength of any country. Decisive, responsible, strong, educated and at the same time aptly experienced.
7. Middle Aged: 30 to 50 years of age: The experienced work force of any country. They are also the responsible parents, guides, idols and mentors.
8. Mature or Senior: 50 to 70 years of age: The most experienced, best teachers, best guides, politicians, leaders, writers, movie makers etc. They have a lot to share and teach. Everyone should benefit from their experience.
9. Old: 70 to 90 years of age: The people who, after paying all their duties towards society, nation and their families; become dependent again. The most suffering lot with very few people to care for them, insecure, sick, invalid, rejected, wise but denied by the society. They should be taken care of like antiques.
10. Babies: 90 and above: As good as babies.
At the age of 26, I was desperately looking for a good job to take care of my family. I worked hard, studied hard and finally got a real good one. I did not waste my time and money in meaningless parties (parties thrown for no reason), picnics, gatherings and eat-outs. Instead, I started saving and soon after I got a good job, I started seeking other ways of extra income, like part time teaching, business, writing etc. This is paying me now.
I don't know whether I was right or wrong, but it was right for me as it is paying me now.
Hope you understand me. Thanks

Hey Owl, thanks for your answer! I was wondering, at the age of 26; usually for a US individual, they are either married or independently living alone, isn't that true?
Thanks a lot for marking it the best answer. What you said is absolutely true that at 26, US individuals are either married or living alone. But what I told you was my experience since you asked my what I was doing then.
I agree with you. Thanks
