Hi there, for legal purposes I would first go up to your village hall and ask what you need to get as far as permits and licensing. You will get all of your answers there, for that.
As far as supplies go, I suggest visiting a beauty supply store. Sally Beauty Supply sells everything from a chair to cut hair in to capes, shampoo, conditioner, sheers, hair color, combs, brushes and anything else you may need.
Here is what I would have on my list:
Chair
Cape
Shampoo Bowl
Shampoo
Conditioner
Sheers
Thinning sheers
Clippers
Hair spray
Mouse and Gel
Hair spray
Appointment book
Blow dryer
Curling iron
Flat iron
and perhaps a hard hat dryer
Magazines are great while hair is processing or clients are waiting.
