How would I go about breeding my dog?

First decide if breeding is right for you. The reason you should be breeding is that you feel you can improve the breed of the animal. It requires special care. You will have to study different breeds to determine their compatibilities. Look into potential heredity problems and also determine if the dogs you plan to breed have any problems in their bloodline. Have the dogs you plan to breed checked by a doctor. This will help rule out any problems with sterility or other health issues that can affect breeding. Make sure that the dogs bred do not have a temperament. Also, keep in mind that a female dog should be over the age of two and ideally should be bred every other year. You will have to care for the pregnant dog so get prepared to help with any difficulties she has. The pups will also have to be taken care of and looked over by you to make sure that they are in optimal condition.

Jennifer is correct with all of this. Me personally? I'd leave the breeding purebred dogs to the professionals. With the current overpopulation of dogs in the world, do you really just want to haphazardly create more? Most people want to breed their dog thinking they can make quick cash, but it's not easy money. Just think about it before taking that path... that's all I ask.
