How would I find archive records showing documentation of my grandfather's Cook County Circuit Court appointment as a judge in the 1950's.
He attended De LaSalle Institute and John Marshall Law School. He was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1914 and died in 1972. He served as a U.S. Attorney at the start of Prohibition. He was sworn in as Master in Chancery in 1927. He later would serve as judge of the Circuit Court.
