How will Tropical Storm Alex affect the BP Gulf oil spill clean up?

Tip for best answer: M$0.52
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Hi @kty2777 -
I'm only a 2 hour drive East by car from the oil spill epicenter, and I believe that we are already being bothered by that storm. Alex has been spitting out storm clouds and sending rain our way for the last two days.

Alex is kicking up just enough waves to keep BP from working on the leak. For their latest plan, they need 3 consecutive days of good weather... so this week is out!

Here is the latest weather update from ABC as of 2 hours ago.
