A: There's too many factors to give a simple answer. i.e., what kind of anti-aircraft artilery Some of it's very good and very powerfull, but only good for short bursts. Others can be defeated by blocking the visibility of the artillery gunner.
In general, because of the speed of fighter aircraft these days, missiles are the prefered defense, and artillery is only used as a last desperate measure when the jet has got through the missile defenses and is coming in too fast and too close on the ship for missiles to be able to target and seek fast enough.

I'm talking about ground to air anti-aircraft defense systems
I'm uncertain about your answer. Assume the best anti-aircraft system in the world. How much of a barrier is the system? Are breached within the first 24 hours of fight?
