M¢25 Funded By Mahalo ? |

The bottom line is government, along with private equity, must fund start-ups.
It's already known that 9 out of 10 new businesses will fail, but even the ones that do put their funding back into the local economy. The ones that succeed obviously create jobs, put cash flow into the economy, and pay it back with government taxes.
It's a system that sounds like gambling, which it is, but the nation has the house odds and wins in the end.
It's also been in the news lately, that many nations add tariffs to our exports, but we impose very little on imports. That would add to the remedy.
Perhaps the third greatest issue is allowing benefits to corporations that take jobs offshore and also keep their revenues in foreign countries to escape taxation here--that must be regulated.
Getting government to change where it is controlled by special interest groups makes the above challenging. Change the political system.
