How to add tags on Mahalo?

Often, when you ask or answer questions, there is a box where we add tags. How do you add a tag that is composed of more than one word?

Hi @ditesco I think I can help.

Tags are for collecting questions that are similar in subject matter or category.
They allow a user to search for answers pertaining to specific topics.
Below are the most popular tags on Mahalo Answers but the possibilities are endless. One should leave between 1 and 5 "tags" on each answer in order for it to be categorized and allow it to be found by searching for that tag.

I will use the example "seo", if your answer a question pertaining to "seo" then you should tag the answer with the annotation "seo" adding additional relevant tags will further allow more specific searches to be done.

Below the picture of the most popular tags is the area where we put the tags in the answer, there in no need for commas or added punctuation, just a single space between the tags you feel would be relevant to the answer and help another user when searching for question and answers related to the answer you gave.

Multi-word tags should be typed as one word, such as if an answer should be tagged "mahalo answers" the correct way of tagging the answer would be "mahaloanswers" no spaces.

Thanks for this write up. I appreciate it and you were fast:) I had the impression that there was another way of tagging using "multi-words" without having to be typed as one.

I don't think you can, I've tried to use single and double quotes and it is rejected. The error message say tags must be less than 20 alphanumeric characters only and all tags are separated by spaces.

If there is a way, please let me know.

So seems that it is not possible to write "multi-words" except for typing them as one. See @buddawiggi's response. Thanks
