HOW TO RUSH WEEK begins today!
"Hey, Lon, don't you think you'd be more successful in life if you shaved that ridiculous neck beard?"
But coming in a close second is this!
"Hey, Lon, how do I join the How To Team?"
For you see, How To pages are among the most interesting, popular and profitable on Mahalo, and we're generating dozens of new How To pages on Mahalo Tasks every day. Producing a single How To pays you M$7, a tidy sum, and every time you complete one in Tasks, you automatically become the page manager! Check out our leaderboard some time...Nearly all of those top people got there by managing How To pages!
Joining the How To Team is now simple...All you have to do is participate in a Mahalo Rush Week. And what do you know! We have one starting today.
Just go to Mahalo Tasks, grab one (and only one!) task labeled RUSH WEEK and you're good to go. Now your job is just to fill out the entire task, without skipping any sections and with 100% original writing.
Next Wednesday, we'll invite everyone who made a great page on to the How To Team. And as an added bonus, we'll choose the 4 best pages that get made and give the authors an additional M$25 prize.
Check out the winning pages from last week. They're all great examples of what we're looking for:
How to Grow Thyme by @Ellekitty
How to Clean Hardwood Floors by @Gno
How to Make Tortellini by @Girlieq3000
How to Trim Roses by @Hillo
And be sure to check out How Mahalo Tasks Works for more instructions. Feel free to ask me any questions from my profile page: @lon.
Good luck, everyone!
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Lon, you should put 2 ferns on the set of the Mahalo Tutorials and TWiYT.
This way, you can say that you're trendy.
I would also like to suggest that this Rush Week includes a page titled, How To Grow a Handsome Neck Beard.

the feedback you can get from staff while working on this will improve your page skills overall
and a contest is always fun! =D
so go grab one task and fill it with all the information you can find on the subject... and i'll see you on the other side!

M$hey... great news!
you don't have to wait! if you do a task it is automatically assigned to you as a page to manage even if it puts you over your limit.
so go ahead and get one... then update your other pages as you go... but don't let it stop you from competing in the Rush Week Contest.

M$As for the beard, I say "If it suits you go for it!". Some people can have a beard and look good with it. Others really should NOT have one. As for Lon, it suits him.
Try shaving it off, to see how you'll look like Lon! Maybe, you'll look better. If you don't, then just let it grow back!

M$My page is already finished, a nice http://www.mahalo.com/how-to-become-a-cartoonist How to become a cartoonist page.
However, can I still change it, and will the changes be taken into account for getting into the 'how to' team and the competition?
I think I still have a thing or two to add...

M$Thank you for the added info. I'll try to make the best of the page. (oh, and thanks for creating the page!)
The contest is evaluated on the "raw submit" before any QC changes are made-- not the appearance of the final page. Otherwise the bells and whistles that the QC-ers did would affect the outcome-- which wouldn't be fair, as all the pages are being QC'd by different people.
The page is yours to manage, now, however-- so feel free to add content and update it as you see fit!
Great day! i have lot of things to do in this long week. Like making money from mahalo... whaahaha......? Trying hard to win.. Anyway lon, make an effort to shave your silly neck beard...you'll seem find!

I second that motion! ... I believe the new term for neck beard is "Throatee" if you want to sound extra classy.
