How to prepare my self for my new startup which is a blog?

I'm starting a blog called arabots which is about robotics & robots & the stuff related to them like programming, controlling, etc...
I'm just going to start it as a hobby as I've participated in a contest for two years about robots & wanted to educate kids about robots & such thing.
The problem is how to set my priorities & goals for that and after couple of years start cooperate with foundation to organize contests for kids?!!!
Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

In order to prepare yourself for you new start-up which is a blog for robotics and robots, it is advisable that you create content within your blog. You can do this by writing articles that takes particular interest of your target audience. You can start by sharing your passion for robots and robotics ever since you are a kid.

In addition, having a blog on robots is not enough, you have to inform other people that your blog exists by sharing it to them. One of the most effective way to drive traffic to your blog is by creating a Facebook Page for your Arabots blog. Once you have published it, you can suggest the page to your close friends and colleagues. Traffic maybe a crawl at first but the moment people find your site, your followers will soon grow.

Since you mentioned contests for kids, you can update your page and inform your followers about such activities and give them freebies to generate interests.
