how to prepare for the upcoming Dec21 2012

I would pretty much keep a 'survival pack' in the house and keep it up to date.
This can come in handy for many other emergencies besides armageddon.

Of course it's all a matter of perspective. NASA has informed us that nothing horrible will happen on December 21... but these are also the guys that got the whole metric to inches thing wrong.
Me? I'm more worried about zombies taking over...
