I, personally, would wear a black catsuit, a headband with antenna (sparkly, of course), and make the wings out of a red plastic saucer sled sawed in half (with the requisite black dots painted on). If you can't find a saucer sled, red foam board or poster board cut into half circles should work as well.
If you wanted to get a bit humorous, you could wear a red skirt (with black leggings and a black sweater on for warmth) to emphasize the "lady" part of the lady bug costume.
