How to make a music page (all genres) to show appreciation to today's and yesterday's favorites?

Pictures, articles, fansite links? featured songs or artists of the day? What are some good ideas for a great music page?
Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

What you can do is go to playlist.com, create some playlists and then go to any webhost and post the links to them. For a while, on my now-gone site, I had a page for the entire Gary Allen Network.

I was on the radio doing top-40 from 1990 to 1993. That was around the time "Lite Rock " or "Soft-Rock" stations were born. I love Sinatra & Big Bands. I love Jazz quartets / Cabaret / Piano Lounge kind of stuff. Pick any of the links for the pop-out player, and just press the "play "play" at the top.

Voila! Music. I'm constantly updating these. Some links to my own voiceovers need fixing.

They may change even by the time you see them. Links and leading off each list:

The Gary Allen Show (with newer, similar added--Maroon 5 is close enough to Spin Doctors):

1. Easy Lover by Phil Collins
2. GA Intro feat Bryan Cox by (c) Gary Allen
3. Just A Gigolo/Ain't Got Nobody by David Lee Roth
4. Simply Irresistible by Robert Palmer
5. Bruce Springsteen - Glory Days by Bruce Springsteen

Gary Allen Lite-FM (had one of the first soft-rock stations in the country in DC and it was good)

1. -Stevie Wonderful Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder
2. Gary Allen by Bryan Cox by Bryan Cox
3. Cruisin' by Huey Lewis and Gwyneth Paltrow
4. Careless Whisper by Wham
5. The Greatest Love of All by Whitney Houston

Gary Allen Swings--heavy on Sinatra but also some other great stuff, too.

1. GA Intro feat Bryan Cox by (c) Gary Allen
2. You Make Me Feel So Young by Ray Conniff
3. New York, New York by Tony Bennett
4. I've Got The World On A String by Robin Mckelle
5. Route 66 by Beantown Swing Orchestra

Club GA - I look for uncommon names. Any good musicians can 1-4 pieces with a singer.

1. Stardust by Harry Connick Jr.
2. When October Goes by Barry Manilow
3. GA Intro feat Bryan Cox by (c) Gary Allen
4. New York State of Mind by Ron Kaplan
