What I did, and what I'm still doing to improve my writing style is write many things again and again. I keep changing my writing styles. Sometimes I try to write faster or slower and then I can decide what is the speed I can write at my best.
I am still at school and writing notes at school really helps .. because I can practice writing at school a lot. Other than that writing paragraphs and compositions or poems or whatever you like .,,,, helps to not only improve your writing style but also your writing skills.
As fallen_angel21 said I think selecting a good pen with a good point will also do the trick .. !

M$First you must do is practice. Do not write to fast. Start writing slow til you get used to it. :)
Another tip, use a pen that will complement your way of writing.

M$While cursive is still taught to most American schoolchildren, it's generally not a writing style that people choose to continue using after grade-school; despite what some teachers may say, it tends to not be a very quick method of note-taking, and it requires a large amount of practice to use cursive legibly. Printing, on the other hand, can be cumbersome in its rigidity since there is no flow between letters, and many of the characters have numerous variations in shape and pen-stroke, which can become confusing when trying to find a cohesive method.
A lesser-known writing style, but one that seems to take the benefits of each style is to write using italics. Italics have the legibility of print with the flow of cursive, and lucky for anyone who wants to practice this style of handwriting, there's a really wonderful article and practice guide in the New York Times (http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2009/09/04/opinion/20090908_opart.html), plus a series of books and additional tips on italic writing from co-authors Inga Dubay and Barbara Getty on their website at http://www.handwritingsuccess.com/
