how to give a massage in 15 minutes

Tip for best answer: M$1.01
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

First, you and both the receiver need to be ready to relax. Relax with your client and don't rush. Put on some relaxing music that doesn't have any words. Here is the process:

1.) Have the reciever lie face down. Oil your hands to warm the oil before you touch. Position your body at the head or to one side, depending on whether you are doing it on a bed or a massage table. In long, continuous strokes, start at each side of the spine with the palms of both hands and work your way with light pressure towards the buttocks. As the hands reach the buttocks move them out towards the hips and return back to the top of the shoulders with light pressure still being maintained as you go up the sides of the body. Repeat several times and go slowly, increasing pressure as the body relaxes . (4 min)
Spend a couple of minutes each on massaging each leg, going from the calves to the thighs and finishing at the outer hips. Use one long, continuous stroke and keep the hands relaxed and on the leg at all time. (4 min)

2.) Massage the backs of the legs with one continuous stroke from the bottom of the calves to the outer hips. do 2 min on each leg. (4 min)

3.) Have the receiver lie with their back on the table or bed. Massage the bottom of the feet with both of your thumbs alternately pushing into the tissue, gently and rhythmically. You don't need oil to do this. Work your way from the toes to the heel. Feel the foot become more soft and flexible. You can also massage each toe and pull them outward if any of the joints are locked up. Spend a couple of minutes on each foot. (4 min)

4.) Finish up with a massage of the neck, scalp and face. (3 min)

You need to put yourself into the mind of your subject. Begin to feel what it like to be given a massage, feel the hands on your body, feel the speed of the movements, feel the pressure, feel the position of the hands and fingers, feel the relaxation. Then just start to do what you would like done to you. With massage, a few tips are to have mood lighting, scented candles are good. Nice low background music - Buddha Bar is great. Then start at the head moving slowly down the body to the neck, arms, back, legs and feet. Time each section of the body so it fits in with the 15 minute time scale. Good luck and enjoy :-)
