How to convert points into dollars?

From what I can see on the http://www.mahalo.com/answers/tip_guidelines page, you can't. The points system is more of a vetting system to prove to the community that you are knowledgable in a given area, and that your answers have been trustworthy or helpful. You would need 40 Mahalo dollars to request to be paid via Paypal as stated under the "How will I get paid section".

Once you earn more than 40 Mahalo Dollars, you can request to be paid via PayPal on your tips settings page. Each Mahalo Dollar is currently worth $0.75 when paid out via PayPal. When you submit your request, we'll transfer the full balance, or the portion of the balance you choose, to your PayPal account on the 15th of the following month.

I was wondering how far ahead you have to request to get your money by the 15th of the next month. Is there a cut off date?
@masontx the cut off date is the final day of the previous month. So if you want money by April 15th, you have to request by March 31st
