How should I ask my guidance counselor to switch to a different gym class next semester?
How should I approach that situation?

Your guidance counselor needs to become your best friend in high school. He or she is the one that will help you set your class goals and choices for college. You need to have an honest and open relationship with this person. They have been trained to help students through the trials of high school. Sometimes that includes issues with teachers or classmates. Set up an appointment with your counselor and be on time : ) . Explain your concerns to him or her and why you want to transfer. Unfortunately, transfers are not always available if the other classes are full already. Your counselor may be able to help you through the situation so a transfer is not needed. Be prepared to accept the advice given, your counselor is there to help.
