how safe is it to do business on rentacoder.com?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

M$Rent a coder is one of the safest places online to transact services. It's a bit hard to tell from which perspective (buyer or seller) you're asking your question, so I'll invite you to learn more about what separates us from other similar services through this comparison of the 7 major services through this link for buyers http://www.rentacoder.com/RentACoder/DotNet/misc/CompetitorInformation/WhyRentACoder_ForBuyers.aspx and this link for workers: http://www.rentacoder.com/RentACoder/DotNet/misc/VirtualWorkerIndustryComparison_ForWorkers.aspx
If you have any questions, please let me know. You can also call in to talk to a facilitator 7 days a week, or email us (see http://www.rentacoder.com/RentACoder/misc/Feedback.asp).

Hi zeir33,
Just so you know, Odesk charges 10% for all types of projects versus 6.5-10% on vWorker. We have a new fee system in beta, so we essentially let you keep more of your money and if you bring a repeat Employer from Odesk, you're guaranteed a cheaper 9% maximum rate (and perhaps lower - see http://www.vWorker.com/RentACoder/dotnet/Docs/FindersFeeComissionSchedule.aspx).
