This turned out to be more interesting than I expected. I thought it would be just an old photo that the anti Obama sites had picked up and spread around. Nope.
The date of the photo is Aug. 3, 2004. That means he was 42; but, would have been 43 the next day (he was born Aug. 4).
But the most notable thing about the photo is that he was not smoking! The cigarette was photoshopped in as a hoax. Since then it has become a conservative favorite, since they could care less about truth or accuracy.
