How much would a cruise of the Greek Isles and a tour of ancient Greek sites cost?

First, I'd ask if you're a fan of cruise ships. Are you taking cruise ships just to save money? If so, you should know there are relatively cheap ferries between all of the islands, as well as many affordable places to stay on them.
Also, you can rent from private owners on the Greek Islands and save a LOT of money at VRBO:

you could also rent a boat with friends:

I just did a search of 12-day cruise with Princess Cruises and the range per person, for two people, was $1,790 to $3,000 for interior to Minisuite rooms.
here is a screen grab I took, since prices change.
Good luck. You will love the islands and you will be able to see the main sites in Athens in 2-3 days.
