If you want to cook a good chicken soup, I wouldn't worry a jot about the ratio of water to the other ingredients, it is sort of turning it into a mathematical problem which really has no bearing on the object of the exercise, which is to make a great tasting chicken soup.
I have found you some recipe sites which have details of how to make some very good varieties of chicken soup, all the ingredients are clearly listed, including the amount of water required.
I have provided the links to these sites below for you to check out. One of the ones I like best is homecookingabout.com, they have both the traditional recipe and also a lot of interesting sounding variations.
As to your query about using distilled water to make soup, that is completely unnecessary, why would you want to do so?
