Thanks! I am suddenly intrigued by this proposed Soda Tax. I was curious as to what kinds of money we are talking about generating.
This is one of the primary problems of a nationalized health care program. The government will then be able to raise taxes at any time while pointing to a human behavior linked to health problems as the justification.
So ...those of us that maintain a healthy lifestyle or are willing to accept the risks of not doing so will be forced to pay for those that refuse to do so or blame someone else for their behaviors.
