The Red Cross alone has raised over $10 million just through their Text2Give number. http://twitter.com/RedCross/status/7803541333 The total must be far more than this.
I can give you a very rough guess as a start to this answer.

Lets see what we have to work with...
- Celebrity donations (sandra bullock alone has given 1 million dollars)
- UN Aid
- Donations from other countries and other organizations
- Text donations to both Yele and 90999 (the redcross)
- Donations and aid from local and federal gov. 's
And
- misc.
Putting this into perspective I think we are looking at a number somewhere in the 10's of millions of dollars .
If I had to take a _realistic_ guess I would say we are at about 25-30 million USD. or about 30 million CAD.
And thats just at what we where at this morning. The help and donations are still pouring in.
This is just a EXTREMELY rough guess.
