Apple’s popular tablet PC is available in two models; iPad with Wi-Fi and iPad with Wi-Fi + 3G. Each model can be purchased in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions. Samsung’s Galaxy Tab on the other hand has 32GB of space and a MicroSD slot which you can use for additional storage for up to 32GB.
If you look at both tablets, you would notice that the iPad has more options for you than the Galaxy Tab which is great. But if you’re after much larger storage, you can go for either gadget since they can provide you with up to 64GB of disk space. But where can you save more?
iPad prices range from $499 - $829. At $829, you already have an iPad Wi-Fi + 3G with 64GB of hard drive space. Galaxy Tab’s current price is at $749.99 (price from Amazon) and if we are going to maximize the use of its MicroSD slot, a 32GB SanDisk Memory card costs $75.50 (price from Amazon as well) the total will be $825.49.
Galaxy Tab won by a small margin when it comes to pricing. Just see both products on which one will work for you. I personally like Galaxy Tab because of its smaller size and weight. But there’s nothing wrong if you prefer Apple’s innovative tablet. It’s an awesome gadget as well anyway. ;)
