The only information I could find was from 2000, so its a little outdated.
In 2000 India produced 700 GWh/yr or 80 MW from geothermal energy.
The estimated geothermal potential in India is 10000 MW, so there is a lot of room for growth.
As far as I could tell though, there isn't a large movement to increase production, since there are currently much cheaper forms of energy available in India.
