How much Fuel is used in a Typical Nuclear Fusion Reaction, How much Power is then produced from this?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

There is currently no successful technology for controlled nuclear fusion, so the answer is that no fuel is used and no power is produced. There are fairly detailed descriptions of what is being attempted, why, and what the problems are at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_fusion and at http://science.howstuffworks.com/fusion-reactor.htm .
