How much exercise should an American Eskimo Dog get in a week?
My Uncle Steve has a miniature American Eskimo Dog that is around 6 years old. It's his first dog and he got her around summertime last year from his neighbor when she passed away. My uncle has been taking care of Love since then, and neither of us are sure about how much exercise to give the dog. She has gotten noticeably bigger since last year. Steve has a huge piece of land with his house and Love spends most of her time outside, but I've noticed her sitting around a lot lately. Should Eskies get a certain amount of exercise in a week to keep up their active lifestyle? What should my uncle do to increase her amount of daily activity? I'm at a loss for what to do, as is he. I appreciate any help you can give.

An essential part of maintaining the health of an American Eskimo dog is to exercise it. An American Eskimo dog should be exercised daily, for at least 45 minutes per day. For older American Eskimo, exercise is very important but should be done for a shorter time
