How much does Steam make off of every game sale?

well i guess no one exactly knows besides the Steam Devolopers. But they have to pay the games owner/s to be able to sell the games on Steam, eg. Steam buys a game for $60 then the game owners makes $70 then Steam will sell the game they bought for $80 so Steam get a profit of $10 from every game sale. sorry if that confuses you but i couldn't have said it easier.
