Hello, @FinkPloyd!
For the 2010-2011 academic year, the total cost for Harvard University students is $50,724. This includes tuition, room and board, and student fees. According to the university’s web site, fees and tuition are subject to change on an annual basis. http://www.gse.harvard.edu/admissions/financial_aid/tuition/index.html
While expensive, Harvard University is not the most expensive private school in the United States. According to Forbes Magazine, that position is held by Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York, which costs students $57,556 for tuition, fees, room and board. (That does not include books, personal expenses or insurance.)
Three small liberal arts colleges in the Northeast also make the list of most expensive schools. They are Bard College ($54,275), located in New York's Hudson Valley; Trinity College ($53,380) in Hartford, Conn.; and Maine's Bates College ($53,300).
